I am out with my Minelab Equinox 800 Metal Detector which I have not used for a few years. I am a HUGE Nokta Makro and XP Detectors fan and have not had the need to use the Equinox 800.
With the new Nokta Makro Multi-Frequency Metal Detector out soon I decided to take out my Nox to get familiar with it again. I need to be in a position to form my own opinion and make fair comparisons between the Nox 800 and the new Nokta Makro Multi-Frequency.
Nokta Makro has stated that their new Simultaneous Multi-Frequency Metal Detector is being designed as a direct, but better competitor to the Minelab Equinox 800.
In my next few videos, I will continue to use the Nox as I familiarise myself with the detector again.
I had a really good hunt. I was joined by Mark Goldsworthy who organised a hunt on his friend's farm at the bottom of the Hottentots Holland Mountains in South Africa. We found some really old relics including my oldest coin, a 1787 Utrecht Coin!
